So this is my Utena costume P: I made the jacket entirely from scratch as well as the epaulets, the white skirt and the gold rose pin. I also took the shorts up a bit, customized the shoes and styled the wig.
THE SWORD is the one you can buy on ebay? ([link]) It's very good~ I did however have to gloss the blue gem more.
The turquoise gem hanging from the collar, and the cord, are from my rose bride cosplay that *thesilvermaiden made for me.
I wanted to step up the quality of my cosplay (wig and makeup) which I think I managed to do this year P:
People recognized me as Utena at the con and were all excited! TTuTT THAT is why I cosplay Utena! To show that it still lives, and to get new people watching it!

I will also be wearing this to Ayacon 2011 in August ^_^

What material did you make the jacket out of? I'm thinking about making utena cosplay myself and I have like no experiance making cosplay.
